Decided to use my methods on a larger file, with ~1500 frames and ~300 layers the script I use to extend the frames out took almost 2-3 hours to complete. I then also had to go through the animation and tween out those frames, and modify some frames in other ways because the additional frames and tweens would break some animations. Other than that I'm pretty happy with the results, looks way better than those shitty AI interpolation tools.
