The big mistake the cops made was not checking on him when he went quiet, but at that time it was probably already too late. The drug overdose was taking its effect, I doubt the cops could have done anything to save him. But they should have checked on him, especially with the crowd that was forming. I think what ever a president do, it will be treat like a dictator by his opponents (like Macron vs Yellow Jackets in France), but I think at least if he can't force people to act, he can do simple stuff as wearing mask or stuff like that more often. Quite the opposite in fact, for every one of Trump's gaffs which cloud the media, China has been using this as an opportunity to buy up ports across the developing world to expand their Belt and Road initiative. Because to all of the poor countries across the world, Chinese capital investment and infrastructure development seems a hell of a better deal than the US toppling their government and building military bases in the region. Moreover, those tariffs Trump has imposed have done far more harm than good, because Trump has done NOTHING to actually revitalize or provide an alternative to Chinese manufacturing. As a consequence, the average American instead has to pay MORE, not because they're buying American-made products, but because Trump's tariffs are directly increasing the price of Chinese products. Again, solidiers get absentee ballots all the time, as do people living outside the United States, and even people who happen to be residing in another state the time of the election. I'm sure you don't remember it, but during the Democratic Primary, Iowa even had "virtual caucuses" for people not currently in Iowa to still be able to vote. During the period of 70s crisis of stagflation, BOTH political parties swore off economic politics in favor of forming a neoliberal consensus. What that's left is that two political parties only have the domain of social politics to fight over, essentially and very fundamentally resorting to the Nixonian culture war as the only field of political debate. Nowhere on the political right is there any mention of economic policy. Name one, I dare you. That's not an endorsement of Democrats, either. They're both completely in lock-step. The only people on the political right that have any concern with economic policies are Libertarians, but they only got ~500k votes in the last presidential election and are largely completely insignificant outside of minor local political races, much in the same way the Green party is.

At any rate, as a consequence of this, the only thing the Democrats can offer in place of economic policy are consessions on social issue like whether people who get their dicks snipped off can go in the lady's restroom. There are videos and testimonies of suspicious behavior but the greatest bit of evidence so far is probably that software glitch in Michigan that assigned 6k votes to Biden when they were supposed to go to Trump. 47 other counties use the same software, in an election as close as this one that can do a lot. It'll be interesting to see if that leads anywhere but I hope everybody realizes how important it is to not just accept what the media says if half the country doesn't trust that the count was fair. Trump would only be president for at most 4 more years but a broken election process will last much longer than that and eventually you will find yourself on the suppressed side.

Hillary Clinton could have gone into legal battle in 2016 but she didn't think she had a case so she conceded. But Trump thinks he has a case and he has a lot of evidence. It all depends on the interpretation of that evidence, if it's not enough to prove his case then the electoral votes will match the popular vote (minus potential faithless electors).

Not fighting now would also hurt re-election chances in 2024 if he wants to try.

It's depressing that people for some reason still listens to the mainstream media on this when they completely failed to make predictions for this election. Polls said that a Blue wave was going to sweep the country but instead Biden barely squeezed through by razor thin margins. If the count was even legit, if it wasn't then the polls were even more off.

By now people should understand that there are a lot of secret Trump supporters out there too scared to speak but the left still acts like 90% of the country are on the side of Biden. Lefties such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (with others) have even called for compiling lists of Trump supporters "so they can't deny it later". If you find yourself on the side of censorship, book-burners, list-makers and people that threaten violence or no income unless you do as they say --- perhaps you should question if you are on the side of good?
