| >> | Anonymous 4feb2026(we)23:20 No.107952 A P2R1>>107940 There weren't that many, so I just downloaded them all by hand. It's not hard if you know how to. There were a lot of generic file names, so for those I renamed them to the URL name of the game they are from. Gonna upload them tomorrow. Haven't tested them out though. There's a good chance that maybe additional files might be needed without which they cannot function. Downloading them is harder and archiving them is even harder (not possible here). Also 1 game doesn't redirect to the swf correctly and the link is down and was never archived, so I guess that one is lost. Also one of them was for "internal use only" by nintendo, so that one's out as well.A lot of neat little games. They definitely deserve to be archived and the guy who made them during the 2000s seems like a pretty cool dude. |

Using web.archive.org as a middlehand is a way to bypass Catbox's ban of Tor btw. >>107973 I looked through lynhp0.7z and 6 out of the 28 flashes are playable: golf_govacation_new.swf, matchup.swf, Prince.swf, Sonic_Heroes_Puzzle.swf, Tenchu.swf, turtlesgame.swf The rest doesn't work because they are trying to load external files (like game levels) and those don't exist. |

| >> | Anonymous 8feb2026(su)04:42 No.107985 OP P8R6| For Crazy Taxi I found this link on the Wayback Machine: http://www.wondertrio.com/games/crazytaxi/Interfa ce.swf It works perfectly when I put the link into Ruffle, but if I try to save it from the link and then open it from the computer it's just a yellow background. What would cause that to happen? |

| >> | Anonymous 8feb2026(su)19:47 No.107989 A P9R7>>107985 This is what >>107974 described as the game being only a (pre)loader and the actual game files multiple files on the same directory being loaded by the swf. It only works when all files are present, so the web version will download from the same folder on the webserver while you don't have all those files, so the local version cannot load them. You would need to download all additional files. |
